As you are probably aware, the time has come for the public commentary period for the Draft Environmental Impact Survey for the upcoming Military Buildup on Guam and Tinian. During this time, much concern has been raised by the community and a handful of senators, who wish to ensure that the people's best interest is preserved as the US Govt. prepares for the move to the Marianas. During this time, a grass roots movement has come about in the form of We Are Guahan, which is organized by a group of very educated people who are simply trying to educate the public and ensure the protection of Chamorro land/culture, as well as beneficial actions for Guam as a whole.
